Hotel PROM is situated in Svoboda nad Úpou on a crossing of two main roads: 1) Hradec Králové; Jaroměř- Trutnov- Pec pod Sněžkou E67, 299, 300,296 A, Malá Úpa 296- POLAND and 2) Praha, Mladá Boleslav, Nová Paka, Horka u St. Paky, Vrchlabí, Černý Důl, Svoboda nad Úpou.
The hotel is located in immediate vicinity of both communications. The first road enables you to travel to Pec pod Sněžkou or Horní Malá Úpa (both famous tourist and skiing resorts); the latter option includes a possibility to cross the borders to Poland - Jelenia Gora / Wroclav. The second road makes the hotel reachable from Prague, with the possibility to travel to Janské Lázně, Černá hora, Vrchlabí, Špindlerův Mlýn, Jilemnice, Harrachov.. The hotel lies nearby Černá hora; a mountain within Krkonošský národní park (GIANT MOUNTAINS NATURAL RESERVE), located in between two cities - Pec pod Sněžkou (a sports center) and Janské Lázně (a sports center and a spa). The hotel can be reached by train (Svoboda nad Úpou) and by bus (the bus stop is right at the hotel).

Hotel PROM was opened on Christmas, 1993. It is owned and operated by single person. The hotel has two dependances; villas. The hotel has 33 rooms: 26 x 1/2, 5 x 1/3, 1 x APT, 1 x 1/1, up to 15 make-up beds. Villa 1 has 7 rooms: 1 x 1/3, 1 x 1/2, 1 x 1/4, + 4 make-up beds. Villa 2 has 11 x 1/2 rooms. The total accommodation capacity is 110 beds + 19 make-up beds in 51 rooms.
All rooms are *** furnished: hall, lavatory with a douche or a tub, TV, SAT, radio, phone, mini bar. Families can request rooms with more beds, hall and a kitchenette.
