Hotel U Blazenky**** Prague
Villa Blazenka, as the most residencies in this part of Prague, was founded on the place of the former vineyards which surrounded the capital city those days. In 1870's, the Kodinsky family, the landowners from East Bohemia, had it built for their son, Alois, who was studying the Law. He started to live in the villa and he was a great benefit for his town region. For the Young-Czech Party of those days, he was the member of the Imperial Parliament and he was also a mayor of Smichov region for the long twelve years. He also wrote a few jurists books and Czech plays for the Theatre of Svanda in the lower part of Smichov.
Jaroslav Vrchlicky, the famous Czech poet, used to come to Blazenka and T. G. Masaryk, the first president of the Czech Republic, came there a few times, too.
In 1992, the building was returned to the original owners and was completely reconstructed to hotel and restaurant, with a marvellous vies to Prague and a good transport connection to the centre.
- The hotel U Blazenky**** with the parking lot provides nine double rooms and four apartments. Both Czech and international cuisine is available in the restaurant and summer terrace.
The atmosphere of well-being and bliss of the old days still survives in this place called U Blaženky
- Restaurant "Le Lapin Bleu" is very well known among locals and visitors for exclusive food and interiors. Restaurant is serving Czech and international food, prepared by unique recipes of our chefs Mr.Radim Brož and Mr. Tomáš Fiala. We have very good choice of Czech and international vines from our own collection. You will also like our friendly service. In summer we invite you for a romantic dinner on our beautiful terrace
You are sincerely welcomed and invited.
